THE OLD BREE IS BACK

Maybe it's the meds, maybe she is getting used to the casts or likely the Lord is just answering our prayers....but we are seeing Bree's wonderful personality once again. My pleas to Him even became selfish...Lord I just turned 40 and I need sleep and I don't need anymore grey hair! Her sleep is improving and she has woken up happy two days in a row. Yesterday, Bree and I made our first shopping outing. Couldn't get her into the cart the traditional way, but she sat sideways up in the front and did wonderful. She is learning so much from her sisters...we have no doubt she will know all the words to High School Musical soon enough-even using a flashlight as a microphone! Thank you to all for your encouraging words and Love. This thursday we get a new set of casts.....

Glad Bree is feeling better and getting used to the casts..The Lord is good..

And just an FYI, I'm funnier than Vicki..I mean she's funny but NOT a knee slapping funny...

It is great to hear that Bree is back to her sweet and happy self. What a relief!! It is so sad to see someone in pain: Especially a little one with a limited vocabulary. It makes me sad when Lily does not feel well. The language gap can sometimes seem devastating. I do not want her to grow up too quickly, but it will be nice to know for sure what is wrong or where it hurts. We will continue to send good wishes and pray for Bree and the rest of your family.

If Bree still needs a few more outfits, The Children's Place is having a nice sale. She always is dressed so cute in her pictures that have been posted on your blog.

Bree and Tracy, thanks for the telephone call the other day. We will have to compare schedules and hopefully plan something soon. I know that time is of the essence and Life moves so quickly. We are typically great with last minute or spur of the moment plans. Just do what you need to do at this time. No hurry in returning the telephone or feeling like you have to schedule time with us now. We totally understand and know how busy Life can be with appointments, work, school etc.

How was the Extreme Home Makeover benefit? I know the family who won and I can not think of a more deserving family. The parents are wonderful...so loving and giving. Between Bree joining your family and the Extreme Home Makeover family, August and September have been very exciting months...many blessings and miracles.

Good luck tomorrow!!! Just think..one week of casts down already. That is great and hopefully the rest of the weeks will be easier.

We are thinking of you. Patrick asks me multiple times each day if I have spoken with Dr Tracy??? Lily continues to say "Bee" and points to the computer.

Take care.

Love and prayers,
Donna, Patrick and Lily
