Brooke's piggy pancake creations

Last night we got to say goodbye to our full leg casts and graduated to casts that stop just below the knee. Yeah!! We had been telling Bree all week that this was going to happen and she definitely , was on board. However, once they fired up that cast saw we think she might have changed her mind! What a beautiful sight to see when those casts came off. Of course I forgot my camera so the only pictures we have to share are on Dougs cell phone (years from now when we figure out how to transfer those to the computer, we will!!). They also pulled the 4 pins, which she actually tolerated very well. Her feet look absolutely beautiful and straight! Now we remain in short leg casts for six weeks.
Weather here has been frigid to say the least. All schools were finally cancelled today due to the wind chill factor. Unfortunately for Brynn and Brooke, they already had a four day weekend so now calamity days for them.
Many of you are aware and have also followed the blogs of Bree's friends Myah and Emily. Just a quick update.... Emily has started school and is doing well with that and her English- you can continue to follow her at http://www.waiting4emily.blogspot.com/. Myah will soon be flying to Cincinnatti for three weeks for a series of surgeries. We ask for prayers for her and Rina during this time. http://www.shpiruk.blogspot.com/.
A special "Hi" to Josh and Olivia, our biggest blog fans!!!!!
